In accordance with current legislation, the non-profit association ‘Gym Maacher’ is committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of visitors to our website.
The present information notice provides you with the necessary information on the use of your data and on the rights you have.

Gym Maacher commits to process all personal data entrusted to them or obtained by them in the context of a communication or registration in compliance with European Regulation No. 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data (GDPR).

Please read the following points carefully to find out about our data processing practices. By visiting this website, you accept the practices described below (including any amendments and updates).

Personal data

The new member, or the parents or tutors in the case of a minor, consent to the club processing the data provided in order to manage its members. Some data is passed on to the appropriate parties (Sports Medical Control, FLGym for the licences).
The data is kept exclusively for the needs of the smooth running of the club until the member has left our club.

Your data may be rendered anonymous for statistical or historical purposes. It will not be used for any other purpose, commercial or otherwise.
User data may be collected when browsing the website. Similarly, e-mails sent to our club and e-mail addresses used to send additional information may be stored.

Image rights

As part of our activities, club officials (coaches, members of the Board of Directors) occasionally take photographs or video recordings for the sole purpose of documenting and promoting the events concerned, whether in our internal media (website, flyers, …) or in external media (cultural agendas, press, …). Any person who is present at these activities may appear in this photo and video material.
Parents or legal guardians who do not wish their children to be recorded in this way should explicitly state this when registering the member (refusal – photo and video).

Storage of personal data

All the data we collect is stored in databases on a third-party platform (based in Switzerland).
You may therefore be redirected to these platforms by following certain links on this website. For more information on the privacy policies and conditions of use of this service, please consult their privacy policy.

We do not keep your personal data for longer than is necessary for organisational or legal reasons. If you are a user/member of our services we keep your information until you decide to revoke authorisation to contact you.

With regard to the general dissemination of information about our activities, we retain your personal data for as long as you remain subscribed to our mailing lists and communication channels. Occasionally, we may also clean our databases and delete users who are no longer active on the basis of suggestions from our tracking systems.
